The other day Microsoft announced a new addon for their Xbox 360. It is a full-body motion capturing, face and voice recognizing camera that lets you play games and use the console without a controller. And while it sounds cool (and looks even cooler), I can’t help but think one of two things 1) this will never live up to the hype or 2) people will be freaked out by the device and its big-brother esque abilities (ie 1984).
